About Brian Niles and the Team

Brian was born in Edmonton Alberta, however moved to Vancouver Island during his early school years. Prior to University he gained experience in forestry and construction, working in both British Columbia and Alberta. Brian graduated from the University of Alberta with an Honors Degree in Recreation Administration, during which time he also worked within the community as the Unviersity Housing Director and as a Provincial government Integrated Land Use Planner.

Moving back to Vancouver Island in 1991, Brian and his wife Sherry resided in several island communities. While in Nanaimo, Sayward, and Campbell River, Brian worked primarily in community development, fundraising and public relations, gaining a strong understanding of municipal governments and issues important to communities and their residents.

Brian and his family moved to Victoria in 1998, serving within the Municipality of Saanich as a Resource Development Officer, Business Liason, and also facilitating the establishment of the Saanich Legacy Foundation, a registered charity supporting Saanich's parks, trails and youth initiatives. In addition, Brian worked as a Recreation Therapist in Alberta, Comox, and later at The Broadmead Lodge in Victoria. These experiences are reflected in Brian's abilities to compassionately listen to his clients' needs, negotiate transactions and communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.

Brian and his wife Sherry (who serves as Victoria's Best Homes' full-time Administrative Assistant) have been happily married for 21 years and they have 2 wonderful children, Megan and Daniel who provide laughter, balance and incredible happiness into their parent's lives.

Beyond Brian and Sherry, Victoria's Best Homes is networked with numerous allied professionals in the fields of mortgage brokering, home staging, carpet cleaning, painting, home insurance. legal, renovations, cleaning, hauling, home inspections, and just about anything related to the upkeep and maintenance of your home or property! Plans are also underway to add 2 additional Realtors to the company within the coming year.
